Cannot find BIB.dll (Win32)

Having just downloaded the runtime files and Gimp 1.2 and installed them. The GIMP worked fine first time, then when i opened it again i am told that the file 'BIB.dll' cannot be found and that i should try re-installing the program. Which i do but the error message is still there.

I have uninstalling and reinstalling but nothing seems to work?

Anyone any ideas?

I realise reading a variety of similar messages, that this may indeed be a blug in the programme

I installed Gimp in XP, ran it perfectly first time, then the next time began to get a missing plugin.dll warning. I completely reinstalled Gimp and it still persisted.

I think there is a bug in Windows, perhaps specifically xp.

I have erased the programme and will stick to photoshop.

Eureka!!! I find de archive plugin.dll in the directory of photoshop. I have copy it to the directory system32 of windows. And works!!!!!!
