cannot export to jpeg

For some reason when I try to export my current image to jpeg the export button has faded to gray - it's there, but won't activate. I don't know what I did differently on this image from others ones I have created that would cause this? Any suggestions or direction would be helpful.

I found the answer on this board. The layers did not have the print option turned on! For those newbies like me this is the little printer icon that is directly to the right of the eyeball.
