I am able to create a rollover button in Fireworks, but cannot properly export it for use in Dreamweaver.

Perhaps I am doing it wrong.

1. I put a graphic on the screen.
2. I add a slice.
3. I add a swap image behavior.
4. I add a hot spot and put in the link.
5. I export with slices.

In dreamweaver, there is a blank spot where the above was in Fireworks.

Can anyone help?

have you used seperate frames for the rollover display?

Sometimes, when my code just won't behave, I take it outside and make it listen to britney spears music, and when it comes back it's really well behaved. I wonder if it's suffering from post tramatic stress syndrome now..

No seperate frames were used. Could you elucidate?

Usually when you create a rollover, you have two frames, the UP frame, and the DOWN frame- you can also have the OVER frame if you like. I would imagine if you are trying to do a swap image function, you will need two frames, and the image you are trying to swap will need to be on the second frame, the button will need to exist on both frames if you don't want it to dissapear.
