Cannot establish source control with VSS, HELP ! 1

Hi everybody,

I'm actually unable to integrate VSS with visual interdev. The message "cannot establish source control for the web application..." always apears
when i try to add my Interdev project to the source control.
I've already checked many options, like adding myself,
the IIS user for anonymous access, installed VSS on the same machine as the
web server... but the problem is still remaining.
If anybody has an idea or already encountered this kind of problem, thanks
to send me a solution.

I just encountered the same problem all morning long.

Unfortunately, I don't have any idea why. I am not familiar
with Visual InterDev.

I am the Visual Source administrator and I was trying to get the web developers projects / solutions added to Visual SourceSafe, but I kept getting the same error you were.

If you have any idea how to fix it, please let me know.

Hi,

Thanks for replying. I found the solution after many searches. It's only a problem of permissions and rights that you have to grant on the server where the master web server is.
