Hi All,
I applied critical windows updates/hotfixes for a Windows2003 domain controller this morning. I did this remotely over VPN while connected to the server via a Remote Desktop Connection. After the reboot I attempted to connect and got the following error:
The client could not connect to the remote computer. Remote connections might not be enabled or the computer might be too busy to accept new connections. It is also possible that network problems are preventing your connection.
I have the same issue connected inside our network. This is the only server I cannot connect to via a Remote Desktop connection. This is our main server that holds all the fSMO roles, DNS, DHCP so if there was a network issue we would know. I verified the remote desktop setting did not become unchecked. I checked this microsoft article: but I do not get the error in the System log this article is talking about. I did verify the network adapter was pointing to the correct NIC.
Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Zoey
