Cannot display page?????

I have read about this problem on the posts and have checked the hosts file for a web address. That does not seem to be the problem. Many times ,I cannot access google. The only way that I can fix the problem is to delete all temp files and cookies and re-start the computer running ME. I cannot simply close the browser Ie6 and re-open. I must shut down and restart. Happens daily!!!

Can u download a copy of hijackthis? Run it and post the log file here.
I think that another application may be messing with ur config. Hijack this helps to pinpoint the problem.

I would suggest to go download a copy of spybot at

http://www.download.com.

Sounds like a spyware problem.
You can also try Pest Patrol both are very good.
You can also get a copy of Pest Patrol there they are both Free.
