I have an existing site that was setup by outside person. I am trying to add a forum to this server (WebWiz forum). I succesfully added WebWiz to another server and it works fine. On this server I cannot browse .asp files. I get a 404 error.
In the mappings section, asp is associated with asp.dll
I can browse image files from the images directory so the file permissions are OK. The exisitng virtual dir works fine serving .aspx files. Both virtual dirs are under default web site. The existing is in its own app pool, the new one I left under default app pool. Both app pools seem to be set the same (using identity = network service)
It does not matter if I try locally (localhost) or from client PC. The result is the same.
I checked the server log and it show the request with the following error codes: 404 2 1260
Can anyone help me with where to look?
