I programmed a route and a loop to Tie a CS1000M with A Microsoft OCS system taht is using Audio Codes gateway until we upgrade to 5.5 and are able to use SIP trunking. I turned on d-channel monitoring and I am infact receiving the correct digits to the pbx but I get a "no route to destination" error and a fast busy when trying to make outbound call from the OCS I can make station to station calls just fine though what am I doing wrong here I think its as simple as a steering code but I am not 100% sure.

Check the NCOS on your SIP trunks to make sure they are not restricted. You might also check the TGAR for the same thing. I've not done an OCS, but I have had dealing with an audiocodes box and it was a nightmare so that could be the culprit too.

Maybe I should clarify I am not using SIP trunks yet I just have a NI2 route programmed with trunks to tie to the Audio Codes gateway. I checked the TGAR levels already.

Watch the dchannel messaging and if the call goes out then the problem is going to be in the Audio Codes.

The latest survey shows that 3 out of 4 people make up 75% of the population.

Red meat is not bad for you, it is the green fuzzy meat that is bad.

The PBX is is acting as the PSTN for the OCS I receive the correct digits from the Audio Codes but on my Dchannel messaging I get a "no route to destination".

The call is probably being blocked in the NRS because of an incorrect call type tag.

When a call is presented to the NRS for translation, the NRS looks at the routing entries and provides a match based on call type and digits dialed. Both fields must match.

You will probably need to adjust the call type being sent from the audio codes box for external calls.
