...from my Merlin Legend system. Is this a universal dialing plan matter? If so, how do I add these "area codes?" Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I always created a new table as a local table and added these area codes to prevent them going over the long distance network.

What are you using to do your programming--console or winSPM? If winSPM, go to Automatic Route Selection, read all the tables, and then look through the tables that are classified as 'area code' for the 800/888 entries, then add 877 and 866. I've never programmed ARS without SPM, so I'm not sure how to do it 'manually'. If you don't have winSPM, drop me an email at nospam at r e s i dot c o m and we'll see what we can work out.

Thanks, all! We do have winSPM (no ISDN PRI, just c.o. lines) and were able to add the "area codes.
