cannot determine the device type from the given filename extention

I get this message:
"cannot determine the device type from the given filename extention"
When I simply create the third of 5 forms. I have no idea why. I didnt change any file extention. It loaded fine one minute, the next it's giving me this wierd number and tracing into it does no good, it just goes into the forms.hpp file and returns an error. does anybody have ANY idea what this is?!?

as an experiment set the devicetype to the correct value manually in the object inspector and them recompile. check carfully the syntax of the file name you are sending and the methods you are using to handle the filename.

yea nevermind. I had a mediaplayer in the program and it was somehow set to AutoOpen and there was no file so it was trying to open nothing and crashing. Thanks anyways. Cyprus
