Cannot detect hard disk

Hi all,

I have a seagate harddisk and due to some reason it is not not getting detected at all.I tried doing that with different bios but with no avail.
Is there any way or utility which i can use to get my harddisk back running.Please help if possible as there's some important files to be recovered.

If its not being detected in several machines sounds like its dead & would need professional (expensive) data recovery.
