Cannot delete virus

Hi,

I have run norton on a windows 2000 pc that has a virus. The virus is listed as w32.spybot.worm. The file name is time.exe which is in the Windows 32 folder. The problem is that norton cannot seem to delete the file. It fails to quaranteen it as well. Any ideas on how to proceed?
