I deleted some users from active directory.
All these users I deleted had quota's for them on a NAS server also with win2000 on it.
I went to the NAS server and tried to delete thier quota entries but I found the accounts now looked like this
[account information unavailable] s-1-5-21-#
it is showing that these accounts are still taking up space though. so I go to delete the account and it shows me files that are taking up space. So I delete all the items and click OK . I get this error {Disk space is charged to the account of a selected user. Users charged with disk space cannot be deleted.}
Is there any way to delete these quota accounts?
Thanks

Any update on this?

I have some sort of the same issue, alhough we run Windows 2003.

The users are deleted from the Directory, the files and folders are gone, but the quota entries remain ...

try forcing ownership of the ir files to an administrative account first
