Cannot delete printer

Hi

I removed a printer form the server where it was shared. Unfortunately when I try to delete the printer from the workstations they won't let me. Strangely enough they say they cannot connect to the printer and that's it.

Any suggestions.

Hi, I had this problem a while back, does your printer on the work stations appear to be greyed out? I think if I can remember that I had to re-install the same printer back on to the Server, make this the default printer, then go back to my work stations remove the default printers from them, and finally remove the Printer from the Server,

I think what happens that the work stations are trying to look for the Server Printer, which you have already deleted, and effectly you are trying to delete a printer from the work stations that does not exist.
