I am using Quark 6.0 on a Mac running 10.4.10

I have created a file several pages long. There is one page I want deleted. I go through the Page>Delete>etc. process, which seems to take care of it. I save it after that, export it as a pdf, yet when I reopen the original quark file, the deleted page keeps coming back.

Also, when I open the pdf, the pdf pages only go up to the page I want deleted, omitting everything that comes after it, including the page I want deleted???

I simply cannot delete this page. The problem seemes to start when I attempted a drag and drop from another Quark file, which was unsuccessful.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

FWIW, I have just noticed that in the Page Layout window there is a break in the vertical line between the page I want deleted and the pages that follow it?

Hi: jaykayeh
If you have a document in Quark that has auto text boxes and all pages are linked, you cannot delete any page that has text or anything in the text box.
The only way to delete the last page is to make sure there is no text on it including returns, enter, spaces or any thing else.
If the next to last page has enter after the last line of text, that will cause a page to follow, so delete that.
Turn on Show Invisibles and see if that will help.

Thank-you!

That did it! What a relief.
