Hi, I have a problem deleting files with a DOS prompt, access is denied. I'm administrator with Full control on that folder. I can delete those files in the Windows interface. The thing is that I need a batch file.

Can someone tell me why!

the only time I've had this happen is when the filename is too long (including too many directories deep). Could that be it? Rob Mills

Maybe it's the attributes of the files.
Try ATTRIB at the command prompt. See if the files are read only.

I've had this before too. I was getting access denied because the system was still holding on to the file somewhere. Reboot in to Safe Mode and you should be able to delete it.

Cheers,

Glenn.
