Cannot delete file: Cannot read from source file or disk

Hi:

I have being trying to delete all these funny folders with names like @#.Nul./@#^$ that have been upload into my ftp account recently. But I have the following error message Cannot delete file: cannot read from source file or disk. I have been reading some tips that have been posted to some of the forums, like using DOS command to delete it.
But i have try it and it is not working. Under dos when it asked me whether i want to delete the folder and when i said Yes. Nothing happen, my folders are still there.

Can anyone advise what is happening?

Isolate your Server from the rest of the network and get a good Anti Virus program.

I have tried scanning for virus, nothing came out of it?
Any one can advise pls...
