Cannot create user policies in CMC

I had created a few policies in the policy folder in CMC, now i can't see them or create new ones.when i try to create a new policy, the cmc comes up with the textbox where you give a name to the policy after that the CMC screen refreshes and nothing happens.

Can anyone help me?

Hmmmm.... I'm suspicious that you may have a data store problem. Is everything else in the farm, published apps etc... running normally?
