Hi,
ever since I upgraded to PSP 7, I cannot work out how to even draw a simple shape (e.g. a rectangle) so that is is simply filled with one colour. This used to be so easy with older versions - now the Preset Shapes tool doesn't seem to be able to do this. Please can someone help me on this!
Cheers

On my PSP XI you get a filled rectangle by using the tool that's between the Text Tool (an A) and the Pen Tool (looks like a nib). It's probably changed since 7 though. I've used 7 yonks ago but I can't remember where they were. If you point to them you should see a hot tip called Shapes. I wonder if you've been using the selection tool, that looks like a rectangle with dotted lines.

Anyway, if you want a box filled with the same colour as the edges you will need to go to materials and make the foreground and the background the same colour.

I hope this helps in some way.
