I have a BCM 400 that is patched. it will not allow me to create certain mailboxes. for example ext6939 is using mailbox 7000 because the system will not save mailbox 6939. I have 4 available mailboxes and have rebooted the system and I can create other 69xx mailboxes just not the one I need. it will let me build it but it will not save after pressing accept

Have you narrowed it down to a range? i.e. 6930 to 6940 or are you able to create MB 6938 and 6940?
What about other ranges like 7XXX

Silly question, but have you been through all your mailbox's. The reason I've asked this is because it's possible to create a mailbox with one number and assign a different extension number to it. I have just been on my BCM 50 system to add in a new mailbox to find that this is possible.
