cannot create a new value set based on custom view

Hi All,
I am trying to create a new value set and validating it against a custom view. I have created this view in APPS. I try to pull up the custom view on the "Validation Table Information"
It does not list my custom view in custom application.I am working on 11.5.10.
can anyone please suggest how do i pull my custom view to create a new value set.

Just type in the view name into the "Table Name" field, and then type in the set generating field name to the "Value" field of the "Table Colum" section.
