My Outlook Express 5,Outlook 2000 and IE5 ALL Crash if I simply do the following:
1) Select some text
2) click Crtl-C or Edit-Control

This is the versions I am using
Outlook Express
5.00.2919.6600

Outlook 2000
SR-1 Version 9.0.0.4201

IE-
5.00.2919.6307CO
q240308
q246094
q251109

Any resolutions or reasons why this is happening?? The error is very consistent and I can't found anything in relation to any errors remotely similar to this on Microsoft Knowledge Base.

I am using English-UK Keyboard and a Dell OptiPlex

Why are you using 2 VERSIONS OF oUTLOOK (EXPRESS AND 2000)? If you are trying to access the same file with both it could crash.

Outlook 2000, Outlook Express and IE5 are at all time run on their own individually on their own.

I recommend running the System File Checker (SFC) and have it look for missing or modified DLL files. It sounds to me like one of your core DLL's has gotten botched or "upgraded". Caveat: Must reinstall any patches or security fixes/updates, including things like DirectX.

An alternative would be to upgrade the browser and Outlook Express, as this would likely upgrade the affected DLL. Also far less messy.

Personally I like IE6 better than IE5.02, and IE5.5 just plain sucked rocks.
