Maybe this is kind of a dumb question, but its pretty early in the morning. I go to log in to my BCM this morning and I can't connect, device not found. I have tried pinging the IP and its like it has completely vanished. WHat might have caused this and how do I undo it?
Thanks in advance.

what type and release of BCM, look at the status lights make sure they are good.

I can't answer that really. When our telco installed it, they put it in a lock box with all the lights facing the wall. We can't see it and we have no key. It is still plugged in that's about all I can tell you. And naturally our telco have washed their hands of us.

Is the voice mail working.
If you get inactive feature the system may need a reboot.
The lan can some times freeze and needs a reboot to bring it back into service

is the computer you are using connected to your company network, if so can you ping another computer.

Try pinging the bcm from another computer on the network.
