Cannot connect with client to SCCS

HI,

Since yesterday we cannot connect with a sccs desktop client to our sccs server anymore. Sccs is stil running fine. When I try to connect with the clients I get the message, " A server connection could not be established"
Does anyone know how to resolve this in a proper way, beside rebooting the sccs server ??

can you see any services affected on systems monitor window on the server it self also are any of your display boards affected?
 
HI there,

Close SCCS Client on your PC.
On your task bar right click and select Task Manager.
Select "Processes" and delete NBNmSrvc.exe.

You should be able to connect to SCCS ok.

Hi,

Did you try to connect, coming from Elan ? Ugly but good test.
Check your Sybase Services, the problem could be there.

I would be more thinking about a firewall or lan problem than about a CCS one.
What is your version ? 4 or earlier ?
