cannot connect to the citrix metaframe server. proxy connection failed

Hey all,

So to cut to the chase, I already unchecked auto config and auto detect settings in IE's connection tab. This is only happening on one PC.

The whole error is:

cannot connect to the citrix metaframe server.
proxy connection failed: Internal error during proxy evaluation

I'm almost certain IE is reffering to a proxy. Online searches show that upon loading IE may be referencing a WPAD file or some java program to load it. This is a broadband connection but there are old dial up connection. I removed their proxy connection and never dial a connection is chosen. Any ideas would be really helpful.

Check your settings in WIadmin!! I had the same problem when I updated it 3.0, just told it to not use a proxy server since all requests were in the internal network. Fixed my issue!!

Ok, I ticked: NONE for Proxy- in WIadmin.

Will this prevent my outside users from connecting?? It fixed my issue internally...
