Cannot connect to server through VPN Remote Access

Setup:

Laptop (172.16.20.50) -->VPN Concentrator 3000 (172.16.20.2) -->3750 Switch (172.16.20.1) -->Pix 501 (10.1.2.2) --> Server (10.1.2.1)

A ping from laptop will get replies from 10.1.2.2 but not 10.1.2.1

I am guessing it is something to do with the pix. It is just not pings, no http, ftp, imap, smtp, nothing.
