Hi All,

I recently installed Check Point VPN-1 SecuRemote NG Feature Pack 3 on my machine at home. I have an ADSL connection and I still cannot connect to my work network. At work I have a Nokia IP120 firewall and my administrator guaranteed that he did all the necessaries on the firewall to allow me access from home.

When I put in the external IP address of the firewall (using SecuRemote) I get to the point where I have to put in my username and password. Then when that is entered it then shows me the Internal CA Certificate Finger Print and the Peer DN. When I click on OK it tries to get data from the site but comes up with the error: Negotiation with gateway "external IP of firewall" has failed.RADIUS servers not responding.

I have little or no experience with VPN so I don't understand what this error is saying. Can anyone explain to me what the error means and how I can resolve it

Thanks

Kartel

It's saying that the firewall Admin hasn't got his RADIUS authentication configuration working properly.

You need to go back to him and show him what is happening, I suspect that you'll get the same problems if you dial up using a modem.
