Cannot connect to FW1 management server

A consultant recently installed Checkpoint FW and now we can no longer connect to the Management server from a client. I manually added the IP address of the Management Client to 'gui-clients' and ran 'fwstop' and 'fwstart' but still can not connect to the server. If I do 'fw unload all@localhost' I can ping the FW server and connect to it so it does not seem to be a routing issue. I can console into the FW server no problem but can not run any of the GUI's.

You can try to reinstall Client after removing all Clients tables from the FW. We did that and when it reconnected it worked fine, and has worked since.

I know that isn't too technical but it worked for us
