Hi All
We've got an issue on IE6 when accessing FTP sites - IE6 ignores the proxy setting and tries to access the FTP site directly.
I've googled it and found the following KB which is the exact symptoms, and the resolution listed works:
However - it says that onlye IE6 SP1 is affected, and we're running IE6 SP2. Does anybody know the KB just hasn't been updated ? Or if it's for a different reason for IE6 ? My main reason for asking is I'm wondering if there's another workaround (Registry tweak etc) that we could use to fix this because disabling folder view for FTP sites means the users can't see what is available to download ... which rather defeats the purpose !!!
Anybody have any suggestions ?
