Cannot connect to database server

Hello all,

when I try to run automated test from testdirector 5.0 tutorial and it says "can not connect to database server"

The long description is " The server process could not be started because the configured identity is incorrect. Check the username and password"

Can you please provide solution?

Hi,

If you are using TD through a browser you need to change the network settings according to your company infrastructure. Sometimes the server that TD databases rest on cannot be accessed due to these settings.

Click on Tools from the menu bar, select Internet Options from the pull down, then select the Connections tab. You would then press the LAN settings button and configure from there.
