Two of our users are receiving the above error when attempting to log on. I have found no real useful information in the Citrix Knowledgebase. We are using Metaframe XP on a Windows 2000 server and never got this error prior to Monday.

One of the users getting this error is a new user and has never succesfully logged on, but the other one has been connecting to our server for several weeks now with no problems. She can log on, however, by using an Internet connection shortcut I was experimenting with early on in our deployment whereby the Citrix window pops up within an Internet Explorer browser window. We are NOT using NFuse at the moment.

Does anyone know anything about this? Thanks.

Is it possible that those users have a winsock proxy client enabled ? You might want to check that.

To me it sounds like a client fault. It sounds like he is not connected to the network. Check his cable. Input output error is about local hardware.
