I am trying to connect to a printer on the network. This is the file the file that it stops on hppcl5g.drv
"The driver or the INF file could be damaged. Please restart windows and try again"
It's a win98 pc trying to connect to a xp machine with the printer
any suggestions.

1) Uninstall, and reinstall the driver. Make sure you're using the HPPCL5 driver (6 I am told is buggy).

First, install the driver as if the printer was on a local port (LPT1:), skipping the test page of course. Then, re-route the port to the appropriate network share. Should work.

Just my $0.02
