Hi,

I cannot connect to a server with mstsc.
I'm member of the "Remote desktop users" and Domain Admins
groups.
What's wrong ?

thanks and regards

Does the server allow any other users to connect via Remote Desktop? Sorry, if this is a stupid question, but sometimes we miss the simpliest points. :) If not, you simply need to enable Remote Desktop for the system properties of the server.

Hi,

I had a PC and I could connect to the server, now I've got a new one and I can't.

Have you checked your firewall settings? Try turning off your firewall on your PC and on your Server to see if you can connect.

FW is disabled on both machines

There could be several things that are causing this, but without knowing what error messages you get, or as w33mhz points out, whether you are getting to the logon screen of the remote server, we are sitting blind.
