I have an Win ME computer with a modem connected to Internet. It is linked to another computer in a home network. I have the following network setting on my Win ME computer: IP 192.168.100.1 and the other computer has IP 192.168.100.2 and Gateway 192.168.100.1.

How should I configure the Internet connection sharing on the Win ME computer to make the Internet work on the other computer????

Please, help me!

Have you installed Internet Connection Sharing? If you have and you've gone through the ICS wizard and loaded the setup disk into the other "client" computer and it still doesn't work, try this on the client. Control Panel>Network>TCP/IP(your network card, not dial-up adapter)> Then click the click the DNS Configuration tab and set the DNS Search Order to that of your ISP's DNS server address. Your gateway config looked good to me. Try pinging an ip address like yahoo.com's: 216.115.108.243 - if that works on the client PC its prob. your DNS settings.

Hope this helps
