I am new to Visual Studio.Net so please bear with me. I am trying to create my first window using Visual C++. I followed the instructions set out in a book but when I tried to compile the program I got the following error message:
error VCD0041. IIS must be installed on this machine in
order for this program to function correctly.

The program could not be compiled. I have looked in the Help section but I could not follow what was written. I have no idea what IIS is. I wonder if anybody could help me? I would be very grateful.

Internet Information Services. You need to use the control panel to add/remove programs and then select the add/remove Windows components. IIS will be one of the items. You will most likely need the OS installation disk.

If you choose to battle wits with the witless be prepared to lose.
