Hello, I have been trying to clean up a clients PC. I went to IE tools/options to delete all cookies, delete all files, and clear history.

My problem: IE crashes when I press delete files. IE says not responding.

I have tried to delete the files from windows folder itself, but it too crashes.

Virus scan is clean. Any ideas?

You need special steps to clear the TIF for the actively logged in user. In addition, your symptoms are possibly a sign of a corrupted TIF index file.

Use the steps discussed here, or the CCleaner, freeware link, at the end of the article:

try doing a few at a time this will tell you which TIF are causing the problem.
