help!
i have 2 NT networks i can handle but one of my offices has an an SCO-unix network that i inherited i'm trying to keep running and learning as i go.
yesterday i changed the KVM box and on re-booting the system i got "cannot change to root directory" when i try to login.
any ideas?

If you logged in as root, the only thing that could stop you is if your home directory didn't exist.

For a user login check the perms on their directory AND every directory leading to it- / and / usr or wherever it is.

You can fix perms automatically using "custom"
