Cannot change text in InDesign CS2 1

I opened a Pagemaker document with InDesign CS2. I only wan't to make changes to some text. Using OSX- 10.5. It won't let me highlight or change text.

Strange.

Perhaps the text boxes are locked? Try Object>Unlock

Or try save the InD file as a .inx file and then open the .inx file.

File>Export

Select .inx
