Cannot add web parts on https

When upgraded my SP to 3.0 which is on https adding web parts causes error and stops.
Also images from my picture library are mapped with http by default so to I need to manualy add https in browser line to open them. Why is that?

I have same SP upgraded on testing server with non secured http and all works fine.

Do I have make some seting to web.config or IIS to resolve above https issues?
