Hello, I am running a Linux server and it hosts the Samba Domain. I recently reformatted one of our workstations, and one of the users of that workstation should be in the admin group. When I attempt to add this username to the Group it will not allow me.
I get a window asking me for un/pw for the domain, and then I get a message:
The following error occured while using the username ____ and password you entered:
Multiple connections to a server or shared resouce by the same user, using more than one user name, are not allowed. Disconnect all previous connections to the server or shared resource and try again.
This boggles my mind since I have tried turning off all other machines in the office, and still does not make a difference. I have also tried to login as root/admin/administrator with no luck. Any help would be much appreciated!!
DBX
(Try it my way, it might work...)
