Cannot add or update records 1

I have created an ADP to connect to a MS SQL server however I am unable to add, or update any of the records.
At present to make changes I need to delete the full table and the add in a new one with the changes.
I can add,update & delete fine via the web admin tool supplied but not via ADP. IS there something I am missing or is this how it is.

Not how it is. I can think of a couple possibilities:
1) You do not have rights on SQL server to alter data
2) You do not have a primary key defined on the dbo table

All I ask is a chance to prove that money can't make me happy.
