Dear All,

its me again. i post this new thread, though the problem might also be linked to my previous one.

when i open the dialog editor and try to add new events to a control it just does not work. the caption "Events..." in the context menu does not activate. even when i want to follow up an already existing event by double klicking the control this does not work.

where could the problem be?

In my project settings i selected "Use MFC in a shared DLL". i dont know if this is is important. i already tried to change these settings.

does anybody have a clue how this error can happen?

Thanks a lot for your help!

Lorenz

in .NET you can find events in the properties window. There are two buttons on the top, events and messages.

sorry i'm using vc++ 6.0.
Though the problem seems to be deeper than that. It seems that there is a missing link between dialog editor and source code...

maybe...

I think nothing is missing. Try to double click a control on the dialog you are editing.

sorry. I know that usually it should create an event or follow it to the source code. but all it does is to open the control properties.

have you added a class associated with the dialog? If not then you should add it first.
