Am setting up a new Vista PC. My old XP machine has an attached Canon i950 printer which is shared through Windows networking. My XP laptop can see the printer and use it. The Vista machine can also see the printer OK, but when I click on the printer to add it I get a message that I have insufficient rights to complete the operation. However, I am an administrator on both machines. What more rights can I aspire to?

Check out the Help and Support article "To print using a shared printer".

See the changes in Vista concerning Sharing.
