I am using Adobe InDesign CS on Windows XP. I am trying to compile a book using about 200 source .indd files. This is the problem I ran into:

"The maximum number of documents you can add to a book is 100. InDesign could not add all of the documents."

I found someone with a simliar problem, but their question was no answered:

So, I currently have 100 files sitting in my book with another 100 waiting to be added, but I can't add them. Any ideas?

You can combine them into one document and then book them.

Open doc that you want ot be first. Then open second. Go to Window menu/arrange/tile to show both. Open the pages window. Make second doc active, select one or more pages in pages window and drag them to first doc. The pages will be added. Repeat as necessary.

Using OSX 10.3.9 on a G4
