I am trying to add a second domain controller to my domain and I can't. It keeps asking me for the admin password I am putting it in and it doesn't like the results.

Also, I have an exchange problem as well...that being, my exchange server doesn't want to talk to my currrent domain controller.

Any thoughts??

Sometimes you have to put in the domain name\domain admin.

If that does not work try the NetBios_name\domain admin.

Did you try to point the DNS of your new server to the existing one ?

For exemple your PDC is 192.168.0.1 ,in the new server you have to put under TCP/IP in Prefered DNS Server 192.168.0.1

The new server need to look your dns to resolve the existing server.
