I have the strangest problem. If i reboot host and guest i can access the webserver on my virtual Win 2008. Then after some time it simply stops working.

The weird thing is that i can MSMQ to it and i can also ping it, but no http.

If i take another machine on the network i can connect to the webserver. So the problem is only when i connect from the host machine.

Does anybody have any clue what this could be? (It was working earlier, but i reinstalled my machine and now i have this problem)

I think this will work for you.

Install Microsoft Loopback Adapter on host
Disable Windows Firewall on the host for the Loopback
Select MSLBA as the 2nd adapter on the VM
Put both loopback adapters on the same net

Select a non-routable network [192, 172, 10, etc.] to be safe.
