Cannot access web access i can get to the english log in screen then nothing happens it has been running fine for over 12 months. It has just started this week. So i downed the server and did a reboot but nothing happens. Any suggestions??

is webaccess running on the same server as web server

what web server are you running?

did you access the webaccess over the web to check it cant remembaer default port for it but if its enabled it will be in the ncf

sounds like it's not the web server that has a prob but the web agent

so i'm assuming it's running on apache on netware ????

when you access the agent over the web - you can look at logs - any info - config loook ok

you need an account that logs into this as well
no- one has changed pwd or expired account or change rights

It's netware 5.1 I have checked the log nothing sometimes it says login ok then it say's timed out. Nothing has been changed as sugggested by yourself. I have had to give up and now I have a tech guy coming in to sort it so thanks for your help.

Just an FYI. I had a similar problem recently. I was running Webaccess 6.0 on 2 Netware boxes. The Webaccess application was on a 5.0 with Netscape web server and the Webaccess agent was on 6.0 with Apache. Both of the web servers started after a reboot but I noticed a strange Java error on the 5.0 console. I finally traced it to the java servlet gateway being broken??? I tried to reinstall but that did not fix it, I finally found TID 10023428 and uninstalled and reinstalled and now it works. Not sure what broke it but it may have been due to the install of SP3 on the GW 6.0 system which was done over 2 weeks before??
