I have a 2950 switch connected to another Cisco switch-2960. I want to set all the ports up on a separate vlan (vlan 50). While I can plug in devices and get out to the web from the other 23 ports (port 1 is the trunk) I cannot telnet or access the gui anymore. I have the vlan 1 setup with the same ip info (192.168.4.5 255.255.255.0 and gateway 192.168.4.1) While i can plug a pc into the switch (192.168.4.10- rest is the same as switch vlan 1) and get to the web. I cannot get the web gui or telnet to the switch? cannot ping from a pc directly connected to it.
