Hi, I hope someone can help me.

It appears that our Novell 6 server is configured to deny pretty much all ip addresses in it's access control list for remote manager. As soon as I try to access it I get the http forbidden message on a red screen.

Does anyone know where these addresses are held? Is the only way to access them within remote manager or is there another file somewhere. If you can only access them with remote manager, what are the options - uninstall and reinstall novell 6? I hope not - I don't fancy another full weekend in the office!

Thanks for you help,

Tony

After doing a lot of looking around, I found loads of .conf & .properties files in the apache and tomcat conf directories but even after playing around with these I still can't access remote manager.

Does anyone know which file it should be or know of anywhere I can find more info about the web server and access control lists. I am shocked if the only way you can specify the access control list is via the web browser - especially as it's blocked the 127.0.0.1 address as well!
