Cannot Access Pix 515 Console Port

Hi All,

Can anyone tell me why I can't all of a sudden access the console port on our Pix 515 Firewall. I am using my laptop with Hyperterminal (9600,8,N,1) on Com 1.

I press enter a few times but nothing. I have even tried manually rebooting the router but with no success. I have also tried different rollover cables, and different computers but with no success.

I appreciate any help anyone can give me.

Hi Richard

For the PIX515 you have to use a null-modem cable.
